Las Campanas Log Cabin
The remodel of the Las Campanas Log Cabin encompassed a complete interior transformation of the existing structure, along with the addition of a new bar and a significant expansion that includes updated restrooms, kitchen spaces, and a 1,650‑square‑foot covered patio. The design intent was to seamlessly blend the remodel and addition with the existing club, preserving the rustic retreat character for which Las Campanas is known.
Exposed natural wood beams, a freestanding floor‑to‑ceiling stone fireplace, and strategic architectural roof cutouts work together to flood the dining space with natural light while reinforcing the lodge‑inspired atmosphere. In collaboration with Club Design Associates, special care was taken to protect and enhance the club’s western identity, opting for furnishings and décor that feel simple, timeless, and evocative of a destination log‑cabin escape.
To support year‑round enjoyment, outdoor firepits with comfortable bench seating were incorporated for intimate, round‑table gatherings during Arizona’s cooler months, along with ample outdoor seating that allows members to take in the surrounding desert landscape throughout the year. At night, warm light from the fireplace is complemented by subtle wall sconces in the dining room, creating a cozy glow that further enhances the Southwestern character of the club.
