Desert Highlands Ladies Lounge

For the remodel of the Ladies Lounge at the renowned Desert Highlands Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, our vision was to reimagine a dated interior into a contemporary, high‑performing amenity that reflects the Club’s elevated standards while honoring its distinctive southwestern character. The goal was not only to refresh the aesthetic but to create a functional architectural anchor that enhances daily member experience and supports the Club’s long‑term operational needs.

Working in close collaboration with Mike Hatch of Hatch Design Group, the design team approached the renovation with a focus on material expression, spatial clarity, and hospitality‑driven comfort. Natural wooden beams—an iconic architectural feature of the Club—were highlighted to reinforce a sense of place, while updated fixtures and finishes introduced a refined, modern sensibility. A self‑serve beer and wine valet system was thoughtfully integrated into the layout, improving service efficiency and offering members a seamless, intuitive amenity experience.

To strengthen the connection between the interior environment and the surrounding desert landscape, we incorporated desert‑friendly greenery and organic textures that bring a subtle outdoor influence into the lounge. In the adjacent locker room, a calming, nature‑inspired palette was achieved through new flooring, tilework, and custom lockers designed to provide both durability and visual cohesion. The result is a serene, spa‑like environment that balances functionality with understated luxury.

We are honored to have partnered with Desert Highlands on multiple projects over the years, and this renovation stands as a testament to the Club’s commitment to thoughtful, high‑quality design. Seeing the transformation come together so cohesively has been incredibly rewarding, and we are proud to contribute to an amenity that will serve members beautifully for years to come.
