Perched within Camelback Canyon, this modern hillside retreat brings a California-inspired aesthetic and resort-like ambiance to the desert, offering unparalleled views from every angle. Designed through a seamless collaboration of top architectural and landscape talent, the home is a masterful integration of dramatic lines and natural beauty, where lush turf contrasts beautifully against the rugged mountain terrain.

The interior showcases a contemporary warmth. Blending a clean aesthetic with floor to ceiling windows, framing the mountain-scape behind, and creating a resort-like feel. The design team incorporated IPE decking, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed outdoor living space.

An eye-catching pool area anchors the backyard, complete with a shaded pavilion featuring a woven fabric top and a cascading rain-like water feature, adding both visual and sensory appeal. Reflecting the client’s personal connection to butterflies, the team integrated custom backlit butterfly art panels, creating a stunning display. Additionally, a mural on the guest house, illuminated by individual fiber-optic lighting, further enhances the home’s unique identity.

The result is a breathtaking modern sanctuary, where design, nature, and personal storytelling come together to create a truly one-of-a-kind living experience—one that exceeded the client’s vision and transformed her dream into reality.
