Camelback Canyon

ABOUT:

This modern hillside home brings a California feel and resort-like sensibility to Camelback Canyon, with phenomenal views from every angle. Some of the top talents accomplished this beautiful architectural exterior, integrating Landscape and Architecture. The project’s goal was minimalist, green with turf juxtaposing the rugged mountain the property sits within. The interior affords many warm qualities, such as the wooden ceiling, the team decided to do IPE decking to create a resort-like feel on this home. The pool area in the back has a unique shaded pavilion with a woven fabric top and a rain-like water feature that cascades into the pool. Since the Client has a symbolic connection to butterflies, the team incorporated butterfly art panels that are backlit at night. In addition, there is a mural of the butterflies on the side of the guest house with individual fiber-optic lighting behind each cutout. The end result is absolutely spectacular and the Client was extremely happy with how her dream turned into reality.
