Sunday, May 5th PHX Architecture, staff and members officially celebrated the grand opening of  the new pool and fitness facilities at DC Ranch Clubhouse in Scottsdale, AZ. The renovation was the second phase of work that PHX was hired to do at DC Ranch and included a complete remodel of the golf clubhouse fitness center, locker rooms, restrooms, pool house, outdoor bar and also the addition of a designated kid/teenage activity room.

The design team on the remodel included: PHX Architecture (Erik Peterson, Araceli Frausto and Brad McFarlane) Studio V Interiors, Greey|Pickett and Wespac.

“DC Ranch has such a storied and tremendous heritage in Scottsdale, it was an honor to work on this project and help further the Club’s mission in providing its members with more fitness and activity offerings.” – Araceli Frausto, PHX Design Professional/Project Manager.

The goal of the design was to create a new amenity for the Club that would appeal to everyone in the family. Whether it be the mom, the dad, the teenager or the young kids – the new pool/fitness facilities really do a phenomenal job at making sure the entire family has fun. All of the dining was upgraded including the menu, which now offers more health conscious offerings as well as a poolside bar was added, which is right next to the kids pool, allowing for parents to enjoy a cocktail while also keeping eyes on their kids enjoying the pool.

Our firm is beyond excited to see this project come to completion, and furthermore to see the overwhelming positive reaction from members and the Clubhouse community.
