We are thrilled to share that one of our Silverleaf homes was featured in the February issue of Phoenix Home & Garden and was also pictured on the magazine’s cover! The article entitled “Revisiting Old-World Allure,” highlighted in detail the home’s classic yet contemporary feel as well as it’s ‘fresh and sophisticated’ interior color palette. Designed in collaboration with Steven Sommer of Sommer Custom Homes, the home is filled with playful twists on traditional, every room of the residence is illustrated in the article. Including the homeowners, Jeff and Karen Stratton’s favorite design aspects of the home:

“Jeff and Karen love to unwind on on e of the home’s many patios. Their favorite spot to watch TV or host guests in the outdoor living room, located off the great room. Every weather eventuality was considered during its design. Retractable screens on all sides can lowered an a misting system activated when it’s hot, while recessed heaters in the ceilings warm the space on chilly nights. Fire features on each side of the pool, as well as adjacent fire pit, add to the evening ambiance.”

One of our favorite design features of the home is the kitchen. Pictured above – the kitchen has a blue-and-white color palette, with shimmering white counter-tops and back-splash, complimented by hard wood floors and white bar stools. The article highlights Interior Designer, Lauren Rautbords’ choice to use both matte and polished metal on the “eye-catching” range hood as well as the “dark blue-stained cabinets that complement the metallic touches.”
