We are thrilled to share that one of favorite contemporary builds, located in Paradise Valley was featured in the March issue of Phoenix Home & Garden. The multiple page spread included quotes from Erik Peterson as well as John Schultz of Schulz Development, Tony Sutton of Est Est Inc. and the homeowners – Roland & Melanie Folz. Described as “the perfect mix of sleek style and casual functionality,” the article captures the modern yet comfortable elements of the home including the contemporary glass, stucco and steel materials as well as the very unique location of the home – sitting between the iconic Mummy and Camelback mountains.
“The key was to make each space have a human scale, even though it’s a pretty open plan. We wanted the house to have a sense of intimacy. We also didn’t want it to seem like a divided house, even though it’s for two families. If only one couple is here, it doesn’t feel like only half the space is being used.” – Erik.
The article is accompanied by multiple images – showcasing all of the spectacular spaces of the home, as well as a profile on one of this year’s “Masters of the Southwest” – John Schultz. Beth McGehee was also honored this year, huge congratulations to them and the rest of the nominees!
