In Design: The LA Hillside Residence

One of our newest residential projects out of our CA office is the LA Hillside Residence. PHX designed the home in 2020 and it is currently under construction until 2022. Erik Peterson and one of our Beverly Hills Architects on the project, Michael DesBarres, provide insight on the design inspiration for the residence below:

This contemporary home is situated into a hillside with large expanses of glass which capture and frame commanding views of the valley below. Additionally, the large rooftop decks and patio spaces allow for classic indoor-outdoor living. The home includes 5 bedrooms and 7 baths, totaling 8500 square feet of livable space. Features include an entry bridge over a sunken courtyard with a waterfall/fire feature, a large open living space and kitchen, private bedroom wings, and outdoor amenities such as outdoor kitchen/dining, bar, infinity pool and spa, pool house, and rooftop deck. Pictured to the right is the rendering of the design, and we cannot wait to see the final product.
