On October 6th, our Hospitality team, leadership team and front office staff gathered for our 2nd Annual Hospitality team Summit. This year’s Summit took place at Paradise Valley Country Club – a Clubhouse that we currently have a project under construction with (PVCC Golf Amenity Building). The day consisted of team introductions, state of the firm from Erik Peterson, goals and vision statements as well as an educational and collaborative roundtable discussion about topics related to technology, processes and standards. At PHX one of the core values is Education, so in that spirit we started these annual Summits as a way to encourage growth in our team, as well as bonding. The Summit concluded with a team happy hour out on the terrace overlooking Camelback Mountain. Our Residential Summit will take place on November 30th.
Additionally – our firm had some very special guests visit our PHX HQ for our September staff meeting – MSgt Stoute, CMSgt Winchester, Lt. Col Kinnne and Mr. Wentz – stationed at Luke Air Force Base. Their visit was a part of the Honorary Commander program Erik Peterson participates in. They got to tour our office, hear more about what we do on a daily basis, and in exchange we got to hear more about their careers.
Principal Ron Skoog lead a fifthsome at this year’s CMAA Southwest Chapter Hodges Golf Tournament on September 20th. The Tournament takes place every year, and we were thrilled to be a sponsor for what always is an incredible day of golf. Huge thank you to our entire team that played – (White Mountain Golf Club, AR Mays and Kraemer Engineering.
