Tia Carmen

Renowned chef Angelo Sosa opened Tía Carmen, a new restaurant at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort + Spa, in 2022. PHX Architecture, along with Schoos Design and PK Associates, was honored to be selected as the design team for this iconic project. The goal of the design was to create a modern farm feel. Therefore the team gravitated towards beige arches, which are seen throughout the restaurant as you walk through, along with neutral-toned dome chandeliers hanging up above, creating a sense of intimacy and calmness to the space.
