This 8,800 square-foot, modern yet classic Mediterranean estate was a new build designed for a hillside lot in the Sonoran Desert. The look and feel of the home were created by pairing the home’s traditional massing with modern elements. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom residence—designed in collaboration with Rebecca Salcito Interiors—showcases stunning desert views and distinctive city lights below. The major rooms all open out to covered patios, seamlessly extending the indoors to the outdoors. From the moment one steps into the luxurious entry foyer with a traditional groin vault ceiling, they immediately look across a gorgeous water feature, an infinity-edge pool, and incredible views. Each room is strategically placed to capture picturesque Arizona views and also take advantage of the hillside it was carefully placed on. His and her offices with custom paneling are thoughtfully placed on top of each other so they have the same views of the desert preserve. The master bathroom with floor-to-ceiling glass is oriented to the desert preserve so that the desert feels like a part of the space.
