Last month, PHX Architecture had an exciting opportunity to present our initial design plans for The Springs Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA. Erik Peterson and John Cochran (Club Design Associates) presented our plans for the club’s new dining and bar concept to the entire membership and staff.
The Club is looking to update and modernize the look and feel of their dining space as well as diversify the club’s overall offerings. The presentation had incredible amount of people in attendance, over 300 attendees. It was also live streamed to those who couldn’t be there in person and was shared through the club’s social channels as well.
Erik and John were able to answer members questions as well after the presentation.
The project is in the initial phases, but we are ready and excited to see this Clubhouse design unfold. More to come!
More about The Springs
The Springs is located in Rancho Mirage close to Palm Springs, the airport and world class restaurants and shopping. It has easy access to the freeway and less wind than the other communities in the area. The clubhouse was created with timeless appeal and to be large enough to entertain its membership with ease. The tennis park is impeccable and the golf course was designed by one of the most noteworthy golf course architects. The club prides itself on providing its members with dining and social events fit to create lifelong friendships and to this day The Springs continues to be home to many of its original members. In the early 1980s all of the available homes were sold and it was at that time the property was sold to the members. Today it remains one of the original private clubs of the Coachella Valley.
