Andrea represented PHX Architecture at the 2022 AIA Women’s Leadership Summit that took place in September in San Jose, California with 750 other attendees from around the nation. WLS is a four-day signature leadership event focused on women empowering other women through leadership, knowledge, and community. Beyond education, attendees were also able to take part in construction and City Building tours, wellness activities, workshops, and social gatherings throughout the Bay Area.
Christopher flew to Chicago and represented our team at the Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN). After a two-year hiatus, the CRAN returned to a live, in-person symposium this past September 8-11 at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile Hotel. The educational sessions focused on topics such as sustainable preservation and sustainable detailing, mid-century modern design, helping underserved communities, construction administration and risk management, and an exploration of Chicago’s role in the development of American residential architecture. Christopher enjoyed the home tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Robie House, and of course, touring the city from the river on the river boat cruise.
