PHX Travel: Say It Loud NOMAarizona

In collaboration with Sagrado and Beyond the Built Environment, NOMAarizona and its President as well as one of our Architects, Maurita Harris, was delighted to have the opening reception for Arizona’s premier SAY IT LOUD exhibition. This significant event brought together friends and family from the local architecture, engineering, and construction industry to celebrate the richness of diversity in design. Attendees had the opportunity to share impactful personal stories that have shaped their communities and pay tribute to the talented design professionals in Arizona. The evening was full of inspiration as attendees showcased creativity and passion through compelling works on display.

NOMAarizona, a chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA), is a dedicated professional non-profit with a mission to advocate for diversity in the design professions. SAY IT LOUD, a creation of Beyond the Built Environment, is a national movement aimed at sharing and celebrating the journeys of underrepresented design professionals. The initiative seeks to inspire the next generation by showcasing diverse voices in the field. SAY IT LOUD exhibitions have left an indelible mark, having been hosted in over 45 communities, from Nebraska and California to Atlanta, Chicago, and even London.
