AIA CONFERENCE ON ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN 2025

We couldn’t miss this year’s AIA Conference in Boston, MA! Erik and Ron proudly represented PHX Architecture at one of the industry’s most anticipated gatherings. Each year, the conference is hosted in a city rich in architectural significance, and this year’s location did not disappoint.

While in Boston, Erik and Ron had the opportunity to attend a variety of educational sessions, thought-provoking panels, and keynote presentations. They also connected with fellow industry leaders, explored the city’s iconic architecture, and took in everything the event—and the capital—had to offer.

LA DESIGN WEEK 2025

Erik attended the LA Design Week. The celebration brings together some of the most creative minds in architecture, design, and the arts, offering a unique platform to explore emerging trends, cutting-edge technologies, and forward-thinking design philosophies. From thought-provoking panel discussions and studio tours to immersive installations and networking events, LA Design Week fosters meaningful conversations around the future of our built environment. It’s not only an opportunity to connect with fellow industry leaders and innovators, but also a chance to gain fresh perspectives that inform and elevate one’s own architectural practice.

THE GOLDEN STATE CHAPTER (CMAA)

Being a member of the Golden State Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) is both a privilege and a valuable professional asset. In May, Erik had the honor of attending the Spring Conference Evening Reception hosted at the historic Valley Hunt Club in Pasadena, California. This exclusive gathering brought together leading professionals from across the design and construction industries for an elegant evening of conversation and connection. Representing PHX ARCHITECTURE, Erik engaged with fellow architects, developers, and industry influencers, forming some of the most meaningful and impactful relationships of the season. The event not only provided a refined setting to share ideas and experiences but also reinforced the importance of community and collaboration in shaping the future of architecture and design.

INTEGRATED WINDOW & DOOR SYSTEMS

Erik was honored to be a featured speaker at an exclusive, invitation-only event titled Integrated Door & Window Systems, held in Culver City, California on June 28. The panel brought together an esteemed group of industry leaders, including Rob and Josh Glass of Glass Residential Group and David Stone of Tim Barber Architects, with insightful moderation by Anolan Dragitsch of Anolan Luxeword.

This intimate gathering offered attendees a rare opportunity to explore the intersection of innovation, design, and craftsmanship in luxury residential architecture. Through engaging dialogue and expert perspectives, the discussion spotlighted how thoughtfully integrated door and window systems can elevate both form and function—ultimately shaping the experience of modern, high-end living.
