Luxe Magazine – Arizona
One of our recently completed North Scottsdale homes was featured in the October/November issue of Luxe Magazine Arizona. The feature article entitled, “Raising Arizona” highlighted our home designed alongside Kim Scodro Interiors, Madison Couturier Custom Homes and Desert Foothills Landscape. The homeowners, originally from the Midwest, hired Erik and PHX when looking for an Architect to help design their long awaited desert oasis. Erik also being from Chicago, had familiarity with the couple’s move to the Southwest and was excited to see their dream home come to life.
The piece highlights the couple’s entire home building journey, including their initial vision of a home with indoor/outdoor living, an open concept with a contemporary feel – which morphed into the “rustic Mediterranean” style that the homeowner’s fell in love with. The Interiors, by Kim Scodro (also from Chicago) honored the textures located through out the home including the ceilings, floors and cabinetry.
The article also details out Erik’s devotion to using “local materials in his designs to give them the feel of that particular place.” Which for this project included Stucco and stone with colors that honor it’s site in Arizona.
Dream Kitchen & Bath
In the October issue of Dream Kitchen & Bath, a kitchen we designed was featured on the cover! This piece was very exciting for us as we completed this project back in 2016. The kitchen was designed in collaboration with Interior Designer and the Homeowner, Kim Scodro.
Modern Luxury Scottsdale MensBook
Erik was chosen to be one of the founding “Committee” members of “MensBook” a digital platform started by Modern Luxury that offers fashion, travel and design advice from some of Scottsdale’s leading men. Erik’s Q & A can be found on mensbook.com and he was also featured in a two page spread in the October issue of Modern Luxury Scottsdale.
Phoenix Business Journal : Suites
We are excited to share that our Scottsdale HQ office was featured in the October edition of PBJ: Suites. An online magazine called, Home Builder Digest, selected PHX Architecture to be in their roundup of “12 Best Architects in Beverly Hills.” The piece gives a bio on PHX, Erik and also features our Camelback Contemporary project.
