In the Press: Erik Featured Guest on AFT Construction Podcast

This month, Erik was chosen to be a featured guest on Brad Leavitt’s very popular AFT Construction Podcast, where he spoke with Brad Leavitt about his successes in the industry and the history of PHX Architecture. In the podcast, Erik talks about the residential and commercial sides of the firm, as well as his experience in running an architecture firm with multiple office locations. He also has a candid conversation with Brad, who also runs his own Construction firm – offering tips on how to juggle the different personalities that make up a team and furthermore how to make/keep a team motivated.

Erik additionally touches on his career in architecture and details out his design for several residential projects, and how and why he decided to differentiate PHX’s offerings by taking on more commercial projects.  He also distinguishes how the firm collaborates with our clientele, and how we balance a staff of 30 who work on a variety of different projects, all with demanding deadlines.

In the podcast, Brad and Erik delve into the business development of PHX, and how Erik changed his business model once he expanded to his office in Beverly Hills back in 2018. Erik provides details on the monumental impact that social media and PHX’s Instagram account (@phxarch) have had in the growth of the firm – especially in the LA market. Lastly, Erik explains the importance of mentorship and networking within the architectural community, and how it has helped him further his career.
