And The Winner Is : Excellence in Masonry Awards

PHX won two awards at the Twenty-Seventh Annual Masonry Guild Awards this month.

The Arizona Masonry Guild, Inc. (AMG) was established in 1958 to service the masonry industry statewide. Its members include manufacturers, suppliers, cement companies, masons, retailers and a variety of business support organizations. Masonry products include block, brick or stone. The Guild has played a significant role in shaping the residential and commercial building industry during the past 52 years with programs of value, (mainly educationally oriented) for both the industry and general public. The Guild has contributed to the economic development of Arizona and the advancement of technology and education, new product development, improved construction standards, enhanced safety policies and increased the energy efficiency of masonry products.

The two awards were a Merit Award for Residential and the Grand Award for Craftsmanship! Thanks to the team of Salcito Custom Homes and Sutter Masonry for their efforts in achieving this excellence. Accepting on behalf of PHX was Principal Scott Carson. The award reception took place at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort in September.
