PHX recently held its 10th Annual Summer Camp for students interested in a career in architecture. This year, five students spent two weeks with PHX staff and area consultants learning about the field and attending field trips including Taliesin West and designs in progress. They then completed an end of camp project.

This years end of camp projected entailed designing a sustainable home anywhere in the world with net-zero energy ratings. Students developed floor plans, 3D models, and a physical conceptual model which they then presented to family and staff and on the last day of camp. Staff mentors included Adam Kostis, Morgan Estes, Brad McFarlane, German Vega, and Rose Roshani.

Thank you to all our consultants who helped out and best of luck to our students!  We can’t wait to see your projects in the future!
