On February 25th, PHX’s own Sasha Tesanovic was honored for her winning Design For Dogs competition. The celebration took place at Facings of America showroom on February 25th and Sasha was accompanied by colleagues and friends. She also got the incredible chance to see her award-winning design come to life, built by Cameron Tall with North Light Construction. Cameron generously donated his resources and his time and we are very grateful. The dog houses were then auctioned off for charity. Sasha’s design titled, “Apple of My Eye” actually won in 2020, but due to COVID, she was celebrated alongside the 2021 winner.

A snippet of what inspired her/details on her design below.

“Dogs have become members of our family, these little beings that live with us and wholly trust us without even knowing our names have stolen our hearts and become the apples of our eyes. It is only right to treat them as such, this luxurious eye shaped dog house gives your dog shelter but not concealing the presence of our companions. The house contains a rope curtain that can be chewed on and is made out of a durable synthetic material for the roof/floor with glass tube posts that can contain dog toys, treats, and even a favorite: socks.”

A long time coming, it was a great night of celebration. Congrats, Sasha! We are so proud of you!
