For the past couple of years, Erik served as an Honorary Commander for the 56th Fighter Wing. This year he graduated into The Blue Blazer Squadron (BBS), an Alumni Association of the Honorary Commanders Committee of Fighter Country Foundation (FCF), as one of the final honors of serving, he had an opportunity to take an F-16 flight. He has since transitioned into The Blue Blazer Squadron (BBS), an Alumni Association of the Honorary Commanders Committee of Fighter Country Foundation (FCF), who provide support for the men and women of Luke Air Force Base through FCF, and is the prominent volunteer force representing FCF in the community. The highest priority for the BBS is to support the men, women, and families of those serving in the military at Luke Air Force Base through FCF.

About a month ago, Erik attended the Annual Alumni event for the Luke Air Force Base as a member of the Blue Blazer Squadron. Along with other key members, they have unique access, making them more effective than any other civilian military support organization.  With that unique access, the Squadron also has an incredible responsibility to the organization Fighter Country Foundation, the airmen they serve, and operational security to the base.
