Riley is a native Arizonan who earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Arizona State University, where he received multiple design excellence awards. His passion for architecture began at a very young age, drawing floor plans and using SketchUp to explore ideas in 3D by the age of seven. He further solidified his passion for the profession after attending a summer program at Taliesin West when he was 10 years old.

Before joining PHX, Riley spent seven years at Devenney Group Architects, where his experience ranged from working on large healthcare facilities and medical office buildings to smaller renovations and tenant improvements projects. While he has extensive experience in all phases, his primary exposure has been rooted in planning and design development phases. He is now collaborating on both hospitality and residential project teams at PHX in the Scottsdale and Beverly Hills offices.

Beyond his professional life, Riley is a dedicated husband to his high school sweetheart and proud dog dad to his 100-pound Catahoula leopard dog, Milo Moose. Outside of architecture, he enjoys golfing and spending quality time with his family and friends.
