German was born in Los Angeles, California. Grew up in Sonora, Mexico. Son of a civil engineer and youngest brother of 3 civil engineers. He received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Architecture and Design Faculty of the Autonomous University of Baja California, in Mexicali, Mexico, in 2012. In his last semester, German was awarded the Santander Scholarship Studies Award for an abroad study program which allowed him to complete his studies at the University of Brasilia in Brazil, specializing in urbanism and history. This allowed German to travel to South America where he was able to experience diversity and culture, and meet people from all over the world.  

He started his career as an intern for a design-build company in Mexicali, Mexico. German quickly became a designer after graduating and became the design manager a couple of years later. He relocated to the US in 2014 to work as part of the Design Team for a global retail branding agency with locations worldwide and headquarters in London. 

German joined PHX Architecture in 2016 as an Associate II as part of the residential and hospitality team.

Speaks three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese. 

Interested in hot yoga and working out; food, cooking, and restaurant experiences; traveling.
