Erinn Hertzler joined our PHX team in Spring 2021 as an Architectural Associate III. She attended Arizona State University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s in Design and Master’s in Architecture. She currently works on both the residential and hospitality teams for the firm.

Erinn’s design inspiration comes from an intersection between the particulars of a place and the building methods and materials. Drawn to Japanese construction methods, craft and careful attention to detail, she also favors Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian design influences as well. Some of her favorite architects include Tadao Ando, Alvar Aalto, and Louis Kahn. Earlier in her career, Erinn designed a variety of projects, carrying them from early phases of design all the way through construction. Some of her favorite past projects completed at prior firms are the Dining Hall and the Memorial Garden at La Casa de Cristo Lutheran Church and the Parish Center for St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church, both in Scottsdale, and the interior renovation of St Mary’s Episcopal Church in Phoenix.

At PHX she is currently working on several of our high-end hospitality projects including Paradise Valley Country Club, Tonto Verde Country Club, as well as the Desert Mountain Sales & Events Center; as well as custom residential projects.

Outside of work, Erinn enjoys knitting, reading, and playing the violin. She also adores cats, and is rarely happier than when cuddling her pet calico.
