We are excited to introduce you to our two PHX interns, Kelly and Atllas. Both are attending Arizona State University and are doing an incredible job helping us out here in our Scottsdale HQ.

Kelly has been interning with our firm since September. Currently in her Sophomore year of college, Kelly transferred from UCLA to ASU this year to study Engineering Management. Kelly decided to intern for PHX because she loves Erik and Kimberly’s management style and their close involvement with the company. In addition, despite it being an Architecture company it closely relates to her Engineering path, and the internship provided an opportunity to learn about the Architecture field sooner rather than later.

She is most looking forward to learning how to use programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, etc. because she believes it will build her skill set, which will benefit her later down the road with her Engineering degree.

When she isn’t at PHX or studying at ASU, Kelly enjoys anything health and fitness related! She loves weight lifting, interval training, running, grocery shopping and cooking. She is even training for her first half marathon. Fun fact about Kelly is that she grew up playing competitive fast pitch softball and even played at UCLA during her freshman year of college.

Atllas attended our PHX Architecture Summer Camp last summer in June 2019. We were amazed with his attention to detail and passion for Architecture so we invited him to join us during his winter break to come back and intern for us. Atllas is a Freshman at Arizona State University, majoring in Architecture and is planning on minoring in Business Management or Math. A graduate of Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix – Atllas wanted to intern at PHX  because he knew this was an atmosphere and firm culture he wanted to be a part of. He is looking forward to learning more about CAD and obtaining a great deal of experience on the less talked about sides of architecture. Outside of his internship and studying at ASU, Atllas enjoys music, video games, socializing and catching up on his sleep.
