While at ASU, Tom worked in the computer aided model and prototyping shop (CAED), where he developed expertise in using the Computer Numerator Controller (CNC) machine, combining advanced computer technology with routing cutting capabilities.

Tom began his professional career at PHX Architecture in 2006, where he worked directly with senior architects in the preparation of construction drawings for the firm’s luxury residential projects. In 2009, he moved to Connecticut to work with another firm on large custom homes. A year later, Tom returned to Arizona and rejoined PHX Architecture, where he is an Architect and Project Manager. In his current role, Tom leads project teams to prepare construction drawings on many of our signature residential projects in communities like Silverleaf, Desert Mountain, and Paradise Valley.

Tom used his enviable shop skills to design and build his own kitchen cabinets. Outside the studio, Tom enjoys hiking and the outdoors. He’s also an avid sports fan – you’ll catch him watching hockey or just about anything involving the ASU Sun Devils.
