Teunny is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects. She is working toward completing the exams and internship process to become a licensed Architect.
Teunny was born in Thailand and came to the US at the age of two. She grew up in Montana and received both her Bachelor of Environmental Design and Masters of Architecture degrees from Montana State University. While in school, Teunny travelled extensively through Europe to study Classical and Avant Garde architecture, design, and art. She also spent time in South Korea, where she apprenticed under internationally renowned architect Byoung Soo Cho on a design to renovate the Han River edge in Seoul.
Teunny came to PHX Architecture in 2014, where she works directly with our senior architects and Project Managers on both custom residential and commercial projects.
Her past experience includes time working with a design-build construction company, developing ideas for custom fabrication of contemporary homes and related consumer products.
Teunny is drawn to any avenue related to design. She is also fluent in English and Cambodian. Outside the studio, she enjoys golf, travel, and furniture building.
