Architectural Asso­ciate III

Ger­man Vega is an Asso­ciate III and a licensed Archi­tect in Mex­ico. He is cur­rently work­ing on get­ting licensed in the US. Ger­man was born in Los Ange­les, CA and grew up in Sonora, Mex­ico. He received a Bach­e­lor of Archi­tec­ture degree from the Archi­tec­ture and Design Fac­ulty of the Autonomous Uni­ver­sity of Baja Cal­i­for­nia in Mex­i­cali, Mex­ico in 2012. Due to his aca­d­e­mic achieve­ments, Ger­man was awarded with an inter­na­tional exchange pro­gram which allowed him to com­plete his stud­ies at the Uni­ver­sity of Brasilia in Brazil, spe­cial­iz­ing in urban­ism and his­tory. This gave him the pos­si­bil­ity to travel over South Amer­ica, expe­ri­ence diver­sity and cul­ture, and meet peo­ple from all over the world.

Ger­man worked as the Design Man­ager for a res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial design-​build con­struc­tion com­pany in Mex­ico for a cou­ple of years and relo­cated to the US in Decem­ber of 2014 to work for FITCH, a global retail brand­ing agency with loca­tions world­wide and head­quar­ters in Lon­don, where he was part of the Global Design Team. Ger­man started with PHX Archi­tec­ture in Decem­ber 2016 and con­tributes to mul­ti­ple lux­ury res­i­den­tial projects.

Ger­man speaks three lan­guages: Eng­lish, Span­ish, and Por­tuguese. He is an active per­son and loves design, road trips, travel, and explor­ing new restaurants.
