Team Member Spotlight: Introducing Aishwarya Gnaneshwar and Brandon Baker

Our PHX family is growing. We are thrilled to officially introduce you to Aishwarya Gnaneshwar (Architectural Associate I) and Brandon Baker (Design Professional II). Both team members started with us early this Fall, officially joining our team in November. In their time with PHX they both have made an immediate impact. More info on them below!

Aishwarya Gnaneshwar – Architectural Associate I

Aishwarya Gnaneshwar joined our PHX team June 2021, as an Architectural Associate I. Originally beginning her Career in India, Aishwarya is a registered Architect in India, and is currently studying to gain licensure here in the United States. In 2019, Aishwarya was visiting her brother who attended Arizona State University and fell in love with the school and Arizona. Aishwarya made the big decision to move from her home in India to get her Master’s in Architecture from Arizona State. She graduated in May 2021 and joined our firm just weeks after graduation.

Aishwarya’s design career began in Bengaluru, India where she was both an Intern Architect and Architect for a prominent design firm focused on residential projects. After relocating the Arizona, Aishwarya worked as Graduate Teaching Assistant and Interned as a Business and Architectural Development Associate for Arcadia Inc. while simultaneously completing her Master’s degree.

Her interest in pursuing a career in Architecture started in fifth grade, when her family was fortunate enough to design and construct a house designed by an Architect. Aishwarya realized how much she enjoyed visiting the site to look at the progress, and the entire process really engaged her in understanding the details of each material. Ever since, she looks at every building that she passes by.

As Architectural Associate at PHX, Aishwarya primarily works with the Hospitality team. She is currently an integral member of the Trillium project team and is also working on a couple of our luxury, custom residential projects.

Outside of work, she enjoys dancing around the house and a fun fact is that she is extremely organized, and is a stickler for cleanliness. She also does a lot of Mandala art in her spare time.

Brandon Baker – Design Professional II

Brandon Baker joined our PHX team in Summer of 2021. With over 20 years of combined design experience in the AEC industry, we are thrilled to have Brandon’s skillset on board. Brandon is a Design Professional II, working on the Residential team of our firm. Since starting with us, Brandon has played an integral role in many of our high profile, large scale residential projects and has also been assigned as Project Manager on several projects.

Prior to PHX, Brandon worked as a Senior Project Manager at Synectic Design Inc. as well as Smith LaRock Architecture. Well versed in many Architectural programs, Brandon has been championed as one of our Revit experts here at our firm and serves on our Revit Committee – which produces standards for our firm to meet on projects firm-wide.

We are thrilled to have him on Team PHX and we are excited to see everything he accomplishes with our firm moving forward.
