Summer may have ended but our most recent campers have more to look forward to!  Their final projects from this years PHX Architecture Camp will be displayed in an exhibit with the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art from mid-October to mid-January. Students designed residential or commercial use specs using shipping containers and a “green” element and presented them at the end of camp. Their design specs will be showcased in the exhibit along with a summary of their design inspiration.

The exhibit titled “Future Architects” will be held at the Young@Art Gallery from October 5, 2016 – January 15, 2017.  The exhibit invites you to discover Arizona’s future architects and showcases students work who participated in architecture workshops such as ours, Arizona Kids Build, and ASU’s Design Primer. Models and drawings will be presented that reflect the one-on-one time they spent with their mentors.

Young@Art Gallery is located in the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts.  Admission is FREE and the hours are Monday – Friday from 10am – 5pm and Sundays from noon-5pm.  Spend an afternoon supporting our students and seeing the great work from our areas aspiring architects!
