Reed Doolan joined our team as an Architectural Associate II in Summer 2020. Reed started his career at Koss Design, Ideation Design Group, and Synectic Design. After receiving his Architectural Engineering degree from New Hampshire Technical College, he moved to Phoenix to complete his Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from Arizona State University (Go Devils!).

Reed has received several awards for his design innovation including the Plan NH Scholarship 2016-2019, a certificate of Appreciation in Architectural Graphics and Design in 2016, and in 2018 Reed was awarded the coveted Design Excellence – ASU Funk Award.

His preferred style of architecture is contemporary with modern finishes. Although many aspects influence his passion for Architecture – Reed likes finding cost efficient and unconventional methods of building. His design inspiration stems from natural building techniques and the work of John Lautner.

In his current role, Reed has been an integral member of both the residential and hospitality teams, although working primarily on the residential side of the firm – collaborating with firm President Erik Peterson and Residential Project Managers on our entire portfolio of PHX projects. Some of his work includes our Whitefish Residence in Montana, Gambel Quail Lot 118, and The Hogan Residence.

Originally from New Hampshire, Reed was raised to be an outdoorsman. Outside of work Reed loves to go fishing and hiking. He also enjoys playing and watching sports, as well as running.
