Mark joined the PHX team in 2019, and has played an integral role in our success ever since. Recently, Mark was promoted to Associate Designer – where he will work closely with Erik Peterson, Creative Director Stuart Jon Traynor and Project Managers throughout both the Residential and Hospitality teams.
Prior to PHX, our team worked closely with him during his five-year tenure with his former firm, Studio V Interior Architecture & Design.
Mark is an Arizonian through and through. A graduate of Brophy College Preparatory, Mark then obtained his Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona and his Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College.
Inspired by taking the familiar and giving it an updated or contemporary look, Mark is drawn to designing things with a vintage look, but with a contemporary spin. He often asks himself, “what would trends of the past look like with today’s technology?’, which allows him to play more with scale and proportion when working on a design. This unique design mindset has led several of Mark’s projects to win numerous awards and industry recognition including Terravita Golf & Country Club, Summit Club of Tulsa and Renata’s at the Arizona Biltmore Resort.
Outside of work, Mark is an adoring Uncle and cat lover.
