Teunny is an Asso­ciate mem­ber of the Amer­i­can Insti­tute of Archi­tects. She is work­ing toward com­plet­ing the exams and intern­ship process to become a licensed Architect.

Teunny was born in Thai­land and came to the US at the age of two. She grew up in Mon­tana and received both her Bach­e­lor of Envi­ron­men­tal Design and Mas­ters of Archi­tec­ture degrees from Mon­tana State Uni­ver­sity. While in school, Teunny trav­elled exten­sively through Europe to study Clas­si­cal and Avant Garde archi­tec­ture, design, and art. She also spent time in South Korea, where she appren­ticed under inter­na­tion­ally renowned archi­tect Byoung Soo Cho on a design to ren­o­vate the Han River edge in Seoul.

Teunny came to PHX Archi­tec­ture in 2014, where she works directly with our senior archi­tects and Project Man­agers on both cus­tom res­i­den­tial and com­mer­cial projects.

Her past expe­ri­ence includes time work­ing with a design-​build con­struc­tion com­pany, devel­op­ing ideas for cus­tom fab­ri­ca­tion of con­tem­po­rary homes and related con­sumer products.

Teunny is drawn to any avenue related to design. She is also flu­ent in Eng­lish and Cam­bo­dian. Out­side the stu­dio, she enjoys golf, travel, and fur­ni­ture building.
