Marcus Rasmussen

Architect II

Marcus is a licensed Architect in the State of Arizona. Marcus comes to us from Michigan, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. During his studies, Marcus traveled to Scottsdale to participate in a two-week design workshop at Taliesin West, home to the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. He was impressed by the innovative architecture and beauty of the desert, and relocated to Arizona after graduation.

Marcus came to PHX Architecture in 2015. In his role as an Architect and Project Manager, he enjoys collaborating with clients and consultants on our luxury residential projects throughout the Valley, in areas like Silverleaf, Paradise Valley, and Desert Mountain. His knack for maintaining open lines of communication from start to finish make him an effective project leader.

His past experience is diverse, and includes a healthy mix of civic projects, hotel renovations, worship facilities and restaurants.

An adventurist at heart, Marcus enjoys experiencing the many diverse places in the desert southwest, from the highest peaks to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. He has completed much of the 800-mile Arizona Trail and hopes to complete the remainder within the next 8 years. He also competes in endurance challenges including relay races and 24-hour solo mountain bike races.
